Healing involves more than just talking about what happened

Trauma affects both the mind and body. Often, people understand something logically but still feel emotionally stuck.

Therapy can help you:

  • Process unresolved experiences

  • Better understand emotional and behavioral patterns

  • Feel more grounded, safe, and connected

  • Reduce the emotional intensity connected to past experiences

Trauma can continue affecting you long after the experience has passed.

Trauma is not always obvious.
Sometimes it shows up as:

  • Anxiety or emotional overwhelm

  • Difficulty trusting others

  • Feeling emotionally stuck or disconnected

  • Hypervigilance or feeling “on edge”

  • Repeating painful relationship patterns

  • A persistent sense that something still doesn’t feel resolved

Even when life appears functional on the outside, unresolved trauma can continue impacting emotional wellbeing, relationships, and sense of self.

EMDR Therapy

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-focused approach that helps the brain process difficult experiences in a healthier and more adaptive way.

    EMDR can be effective for:

    • Trauma and PTSD

    • Anxiety and panic

    • Relationship trauma and betrayal

    • Childhood wounds and attachment issues

    • Negative self-beliefs and emotional triggers

The goal is not to erase memories, but to reduce the emotional distress connected to them so they no longer feel as overwhelming or disruptive.
